North Northamptonshire County Council's application portal opens on 10 September 2026 and they have asked us to share the importance of submitting an application by midnight on 31 October 2026 (the closing date).

Failure to get your application in on time will affect your chances of obtaining a place for your child at your preferred school.

Applications received after this date will be late and will only be considered after the on time applications have been dealt with. 

On time applicants will receive the offer of a school place on National Offer Day, Monday 1 March 2027.

Timeline for admissions at Southfield

Saturday 31 October 2026

  • Closing date for applications

  • Apply on line at https://www.northnorthants.gov.uk/secondary-school-places or any North Northamptonshire library

  • Apply by post by downloading the information booklet from the above link and complete the application form at the end of the booklet

     

Monday 1 March 2027

  • Offer letters posted to parents

  • If you have applied online you will be able to login in and view your offer there

  • It will be assumed that you have accepted your allocated place unless you let North Northamptonshire County Council know otherwise

 

March 2027

  • Welcome information emailed by Southfield School

     

July 2027
